What goes best with pickled walnuts?

I was given a jar of pickled walnuts from a Danish friend and I'd like to know what would taste awesome with them. They are not well known here in Australia, and whilst I have trawled the internet for hours, I'm now in a pickle of over-thinking, too many tabs open and my brain in a 'ok THIS is it! No, this one!' I wonder if people from places where they are popular have any traditional or new recipes using pickled walnuts that they'd share with me?
So far I have made this lamb carpaccio with shallot mousse, pickled walnut and quails eggs. Awesome.
What else could I make that uses pickled walnuts to pick up flavours from other foodstuffs? I know I could put them on a plate with cheeses, but I want something maybe a bit more challenging and complete as a flavourful profile across a range of textures and flavours, like that carpaccio combination. [Not that I prefer only meat options, vegetarian options also welcomed.]
Thank you cooking mefites!

Rocket (arugula?) and mackerel (the pre-cooked deli style?) with a spicy (peri peri) mayonnaise, all topped off with pickled walnuts. If I could, I would live on nothing-but-that, unfortunately I keep running out of the ingredients!

He's allergic to walnuts but for some reason the pickled ones are a-ok.
