Swap o Rama Rama in Portland?

So I just found out that this is a thing and I really want to participate. The contact info for the Portland meet-up is all outdated! I'd anyone here involved in this event or knows where their web presence is?

So this lady seems to have a page collecting all the free swap meets in the Portland metro region. I remember this sort of thing being more popular in the early aughts.

Response by poster: The swap meeto you liked are cool! Thank you.
I'm looking more for knowledge swap type events ... resources for finding low cost workshops on recycling/modifying clothing, in the vein of the above link.
No more thread sitting on my part.

Best answer: In Portland, volunteering in exchange for knowledge exists for basically any category of thing you could want to learn about.
There are workshops on bikes at Bikes4Humanity. Volunteer for 10 hours in exchange for a 9-week course.
There are workshops on computers at Free Geek; there's a full-on learn to build your computer program that takes several months. You're volunteering, but you're learning.
The Urban Farm Collective offers apprenticeships.
My partner says the Repair Cafe keep talking about implementing skillshares, and that the PDX Hackerspace offers craft and electronic workshops sometimes and you don't have to be a member.
You might also try therooster.co. It's a pay-it-forward type website where you can offer skill trades.

Oh, there's also Friday Night Sewcials at Modern Domestic on Alberta Street from 5-8pm, but they're $10.
