who is the man on this pumpkin?
I passed by this pumpkin near my house in silver lake, los angeles around halloweentime, and still have no idea who it was suppose to be. neither does anybody I know. clearly somebody who unites the UK and the US. with a mustache. for halloween...? help

Could it just be the guy who lives there? If he's from Britain, that might explain why he doesn't know how jack o'lanterns work.

Steven Gerrard? British born pro soccer player playing for LA. Gerrard doesn't really have just a mustache but often has some bit of facial hair.

My first thought was also that it looked like a amateur rendering of MLK Jr. Next was...Sacha Baron Cohen? Well, this has been a fun rorschach test.

Look, don't ask my why Wilt Chamberlain would be on a UK/US pumpkin, but that looks very much like Wilt Chamberlain.

Also, if you look at the angle/posing, it's almost like an exact copy of this photo of Neville Chamberlain.
My theory now, and I admit that there's been a bit of Christmas cheer around here, is that it's a Neville Chamberlain/Wilt Chamberlain mashup painted on a pumpkin, because what the hell else would you paint it on?
I will fight you on this.

I showed my partner the photo last night, and he suggested that perhaps it was a self-portrait of the guy who decorated the pumpkin. Stranger things have happened! Now I REALLY want you to knock on the door and talk to the 'artist'. There's an off chance your question will be answered the second you see his face.
