Similar jazzy math rock

What are some bands similar in style to this song by Talk Talk (specifically, instrumentally, less so vocally)?

I also love Slint/math rock.

I'm reminded of Do Make Say Think.

I presume you have already exhausted the rest of the late-period Talk Talk catalog, but if not, definitely at least get Spirit of Eden. (Colour of Spring is also good, but for my money Spirit of Eden is the pick of the bunch.) And you may not be aware of it, but some of the members of Talk Talk produced work after the band broke up (Mark Hollis with a self-titled solo album, Paul Webb and Lee Harris as 'O'Rang.) I can't recommend the post-Talk-Talk projects nearly as much as late-period Talk Talk, but then there's very little music I can recommend that highly. Tim Friese-Greene even has some releases under the name Heligoland (not to be confused with the Massive Attack album of the same name.) They're kind of odd and I've never gotten into them but after all of his production contributions I felt I owed them a listen.

(For those who are reading this and thinking "Talk Talk.. didn't they have some decent but forgettable synth-pop hits in the 80s?" Yes they did. And then they went off in a totally different direction and produced some genius work.)

Not quite the same thing, but perhaps the first few Teeth of the Sea releases, Orphaned by the Ocean, Your Mercury, and the Hypnoticon EP?

A Silver Mt. Zion. (Much of post-rock, for that matter.)

Penguin Cafe Orchestra's slower, weirder stuff, maybe?

this isn't math rock, but i've got it playing right now and it reminded me somehow of this question - aquatic by the necks.

Oh, also slowcore! Early Low, especially.

This is my genre, I could come up with quite a few examples for you. Tortoise is my go to, but I think The Epiphany of Glenn Jones by Cul de Sac and John Fahey, and Feng Shui by Doldrums would be a good start.

(Sorry, no links, I'm on my phone at the moment)

Gastr Del Sol - The Serpentine Similar
Slowdive - Pygmalion

If you want to go further into jazz, you might like Jon Hassell and Nils Petter Molvaer.
