Resources for trans-adjacent folks?

I'm transgender and taking steps towards starting hormones (T) in the new year. A cisgender romantic partner is fully supportive, but nervous about the future. Hope us find resources (blogs, first-person essays, podcasts) created by and for cis partners of trans people?

To be clear: we are not looking for meetups, support groups, or other in-person resources. We are in the US and looking for media in English or Spanish, available online, focused on the experience of the non-transitioning partner.

I'm a partner of a trans guy, and I've found precious little out there - a lot of the community is geared toward partners of trans women, for reasons I can't quite discern. I posted about some of the resources I found over here. Love, Always - a relatively recent book from Transgress Press - has a lot of stories written by partners (I found that some really resonated with me, and some were hard to read. YMMV).

If you're comfortable with it, memail me, and I'd be happy to talk to her directly about my experiences. Best of luck to you and her!

(The poster hasn't specified their partner's gender - would be good not to make assumptions.)

That's what I get for scanning questions at work and not paying close attention - thanks for the reminder, une heure pleine. :)

Straight for Equality, a branch of PFLAG, has some really great material on being a great trans ally. It has some very good, very basic and accessible info. As a trans person, you already know this stuff and your partner likely does too. But it may be of use to you and your partner for educating others in your life, whether it's a family member, friend, or coworker. I particularly like the presentation "Guide to Being a Trans Ally." I'm sure at some point, a well-meaning relative will say something dumb or ask an offensive question, and this could help.

This is a thoughtful essay by a cis woman on her trans husband's surgery (original Mefi thread here)

This blog by the wife of a transman will prepare your partner for some things they may go through.

Susan's Place has a decent population of transmen, and is very welcoming and supportive of partners of trans folk.
