There is now a Dead Authors-shaped hole in my heart. Are there any other humor podcasts of a similar literary and/or historical bent?

Don't forget to watch out for coming specials for DAP. Mr. Tompkins was very careful to say that the one in September was the last monthly show, but I bet he will do a few at festivals (like SF Sketchfest and such). He didn't get to Jules Verne, so even just for that?

I don't actually know, but there was this NPR thing, which grazed my view last week or so, earbud.fm.

They have selected episodes of podcasts, which can be great to discover new podcasts. One can even listen to the casts directly on site. To make things even better they organized them in handy categories. Just select "More categories" in the grey bar on the right to see "Books & Lit" or "Comedy", etc.

Stupid site stupidly doesn't allow direct linking to categories...
