Fun weekend trips in the Bay Area

I would love some suggestions for fun weekend or short trips within driving distance of the San Jose area.
Ideally, there would be yummy foods and things to do that aren't overly nature-y. A nice, scenic stroll would be nice but not somewhere where we'd have to hike for miles to see something. Basically, a relaxing place but not SO relaxing that we're bored. Sorry if this question sucks. I can't seem to articulate what I'm looking for, because I really don't know what I'm looking for!

Visit the Mystery Spot and take a hike around their grounds or in the forests near by.

Moss Landing near Monterey. There are sea lions and whale watching boat tours!

Big Basin Redwood park, Mystery Spot, Roaring Camp Railroad, the general Santa Cruz area, Monterey (aquarium?), Carmel, Big Sur (plenty of scenery). Much closer than San Luis Obispo, which is a long haul if you take Hwy 1.
Alternatively, you can hang a right at Santa Cruz and take Hwy 1 north up the coast to Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Montara. Only a bit further to SF from there.
Good food isn't too hard to find.

The Sierra foothills along Highway 49. Murphy's, CA, or Sutter Creek, or Placerville, or Grass Valley / Nevada City. All charming old gold rush towns with tourist amenities, funky history, good food. Murphy's has a lot of convenient wine tasting in town too, and there's a decent wine region around Placerville.

Cambria is sweet, small and has a few good restaurants. The boardwalk stroll at Moonstone Beach is pretty. We like Robin's for dinner.
Not for nothing, the drive on Hwy 46 from Paso to Cambria is stunning.

Napa Valley, Bodega Bay, Lake Tahoe, Half Moon Bay. Lots of stuff to do in those places. It's tough to be more specific without some direction.
