Best option for accepting credit card payments in Costa Rica?

Hey guys, I have a business in Costa Rica that specializes in tourism and does about $20-$30K of business per month. Does anyone out there know of the best possible option for accepting credit card payments in Costa Rica? Right now we are working through paypal but its certainly not ideal (and neither is requesting cash from our clients). I have already seen and heard of some of these third party entities withholding funds and even denying funds in Costa Rica (and elsewhere). Also, some of the rates on these things look ridiculous. Any help is obviously greatly appreciated!

I don't know about Costa Rica, but we have been pretty happy with Adyen.

Response by poster: Do you know anything about any monthly or weekly limits they have?

If the business is in Costa Rica, you should approach your bank in Costa Rica to walk you through setting up a payment system.

I have not seen anything about any limits. We are a cafe and it works well for us.

You're in CR yourself, right? I was just thinking, the last time I was there, my hotel checkout bill was US$1,600, and it (VISA) went through in seconds, no problem. Perhaps you could talk to hoteliers/B&B owners in your area about the processors they use?
