Octomber

Each month I host a series of movie nights with a theme. October is going to be OcTomber. Recommend me some movies starring at least TWO people named Tom.
Writers/directors/major creative personnel named Tom count too. Genre/era/language/etc don't matter, they should be enjoyable but we enjoy a wide variety of things.

That Thing You Do! - Tom Hanks & Tom Everett Scott.

In the event you run out of Toms, IMDB can help (list of Toms and Two People Working Together search). Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to search for movies with two generic Toms in: you've got to pick specific Toms.

A little left field, but Legend has Tom Hardy playing two different characters at once - does that count? (IMDB also tells me that Tom Hardy's stunt double is named Jacob TOMuri).

Best answer: "Splash" starring Tom Hanks and my late uncle Tom Toner who plays the role of the NYC cop who arrested Daryl Hannah as she emerged from the ocean. That Hanks guy took top billing, but my Uncle Tommy was the real star!

Freddy Got Fingered stars Tom Green and Rip Torn, and Torn looks a lot like Tom, depending on kerning.

I would do every possible Tom Waits movie--but maybe hit these highlights:
Cold Feet
Down by Law
Mystery Men
Seven Psychopaths
At Play in the Fields of the Lord
Rumblefish
Mystery Train
The Fisher King
Dracula
Coffee and Cigarettes
And of course, Big Time if you can find it
If you only watch one, I recommend Cold Feet

Wolf Hall has so many characters named Tom/Thomas that you need a program, or at least a basic course in English history, to keep them straight.

Response by poster: Thanks everyone! The movie night committee is taking all your suggestions under advisement, but three blind mice gets the best answer for sheer charm.
