Flat-bottomed mugs you make my rockin' world go round

I need mugs with completely flat bottoms, so they don't hold water in the dishwasher. Do you have some that you like? Additional requirements below the fold.
I am also eventually looking to replace all my plates and bowls. so mugs that match ROUND plates and bowls would be excellent (the square ones don't turn in the microwave).
Should not get hot in the microwave.
I like having multiple colors, so like one set of plate/bowl/mug/sandwich plate in each of 4-8 solid colors would be excellent.
The bowls should ALSO be flat-bottomed for the same reason.
But I can't afford to replace everything right now (unless they're super cheap?) -- right now I'm mostly interested in the mugs, since those are the biggest offenders in my dishwasher. I really want to stop taking every damn mug out of the dishwasher with a big pool of water in the bottom.

This isn't exactly answering your question, but Ikea coffee cups have a little notch in the bottom to let water drain out. I'd like them to be a little bigger, but they're fine.

Could you load your existing stuff into your dishwasher so it rests at a bit of an angle in the rack? Might still hold some liquid but maybe not enough to be troublesome?

I think you'll have a hard time finding mugs that are completely flat underneath, because that causes some practical issues:
It has to be more precisely made to sit flat
It's less stable when there's crumbs or a rough table
Mugs are strongest at the edge, so that's where you want it to rest
A flat bottom will create more suction with a smooth table surface, saucer, or coaster
I think what would be better would be a mug with basically a convex underside but with a circle of bumps that act as feet. I'm quite sure I've seen these, and maybe I even have some at home, but I sure can't find any evidence online that these exist at all.

Response by poster: I have one handmade flat-bottomed mug, so I know they must exist. Alas, I got very excited about the Le Creuset mugs because they're super-attractive, but I just nipped over to the kitchenware store and their bottoms are even more concave than the mugs I currently have. Maybe I'll have to make a trip to Ikea, though I do like bigger mugs, and those look very top-heavy.
I have a Bosch dishwasher, and even when I try to put things at an angle, anything with a concave bottom still fills with water.

Emil Henry mugs and bowls are both completely flat on the bottom, come in many colors and are warm but not untouchable coming out of the microwave. Here is an ebay link that shows pictures of the bottom of the bowls, you can find a ton of Emil Henry stuff on Amazon too.

By the way, the concave bottom on pottery is called the "foot" and they're generally included for the reasons aubilenon gives, but not always.
We have a mug made by Deneen Pottery that has a flat bottom (example pic). They generally make mugs for other people (we got ours at a national park) but it looks like they sell mugs direct.

I would call Fishes Eddy and ask them if they have anything. Bonus: they might have the other tableware you're looking for.

Response by poster: All right... maybe I should change my search to mugs with the shallowest foot possible? Though my handmade (yeah the bottom is not glazed) mug has been through the dishwasher countless times since the eighties and is indestructible.
