Short notice: how to print a passport photo in Stockholm tonight.

I need to get a passport photo printed in Stockholm tonight or tomorrow morning. Does anyone know of a print shop in central Stockholm that can print an image off my phone? (the photo should be all ready- it just needs to be printed at 300dpi onto photo paper). This has to happen between 10:00 tonight and roughly 8:30 tomorrow morning to leave me time to get to my appointment at the embassy. Insane schedule brought to you by travel, the US embassy, and thieves with crowbars.

Best answer: Does it need to be that one picture? Or will any new passport photo do? Because apparently the main train station has a photo booth which will take and print a passport photo for you. There may be other booths around the city too, they are pretty common in transport hubs in Europe I've noticed.

Response by poster: Any will do- if I can find a booth, I will try it and hope I can coax it into producing something acceptable. US passport forms are fairly negative about photo booths, though I have heard more positive things about them from actual people so maybe it will be fine, but I am paranoid because of the time pressure.

If everything else fails, I know some embassies insist if you don't have a photo to their liking, they'll take one of you there & then along with the biometric data (anecdote from Danish Embassy, London last month).

Seconding photo booth in the main train station but the format may be slightly off.

Are there any all-night pharmacies with a photo department? If so, they probably will take/print a passport photo while you wait, like Walgreen's does here in the US.

Try calling the Apoteket near the central train station (open 24 hours) and ask if they print photos. My experience in Sweden was that basically everything closes early, so I don't have any other suggestions...good luck. If you're staying at a hotel (or even if not) ask a concierge.

Can't think of anything open that early, sorry, but the company in shelleycats link have more photo booths around town if the Central Station is not closest to you. Just search for "Stockholm" at this page on their site (i was unable to link to the search results).

Oh and click on the markers on the map for detailed info about the booth - exact location, payment etc.

Pharmacies do not print photos in Sweden. Just sayin...

Response by poster: The photo booth worked fine. There are two in T-Centralen that I saw. The one next to the luggage lockers take cards only, which is a no-go for my magstripe USA cards but the one upstairs takes coins. It didn't produce photos that were exactly obeying the regulations, but the embassy didn't blink and issued me a new passport the same day.
