iPad dock/speaker thing/clock type question

Can someone recommend a good dock for an iPad that has quite good quality speakers and preferably the ability to use it as an alarm clock?

That's pretty much the extent of it. It's for our seven year old. She's recently gotten into music and would like to be able to listen to it in her room and I would like her to keep her iPad charged. Kind of overwhelmed by shopping for it.

For those, I'd browse your local Best Buy. There are several Sony models as well as somewhat generic brands like "iHome" or such that makes what you need.
