What kind of light bulb is this? Will I be able to get an LED bulb to replace it? I would take it to a hardware store to ask, but I don't actually own it (or the fixture it fits in) yet - considering buying it from someone.

It looks to me like a candelabra base globe bulb. Those exist in LED but are not as plain/pretty, for example (lots lots more if you google something like LED candelabra globe bulb), because they have more stuff they need to hide away.

If you search for "filament E12 globe led" you should find some nicer options. Although, filament LED bulbs are still quite new, see fewer in number and pricier. For example...

IKEA makes an LED E12 globe.

Works great in our fixture, but the bulb isn't terribly visible.

We were happy to find chandelier FEIT Electric (911482) LED bulbs at Costco, multi-pack at a reasonable price. Just mentioning as something you would want to consider, may not appeal to you and/or may not be the same base (though I think it is).

My go-to for esoteric LED bulbs these days is Super Bright LEDs. Here's their E12 base selection. The one at the bottom is specced at 80 lumens brighter than the Ikea bulb linked above, and it's a filament style as well.
