Trying to ID "Invisible Man" painting

We picked up this cool print of a painting at a thrift store the other day. When I saw it I thought it looked familiar somehow, but googling has yet to turn up the artist. Look familiar to anyone? The signature looks like it says "S. Seppa" but it's not super easy to read. Thanks!

No results with Tin Eye but then maybe the angle of the photo threw it off?

I'm wondering if it is possibly cover art for a speculative or science fiction novel.

I fixed the perspective in Photoshop and tried running it through Tineye and Google Image Search with no luck. Can you take a shot without flash? It's possible a picture without the glare/reflected light might work better.

My first guess was that it was related to Memoirs of an Invisible Man. I've never seen the film (the only John Carpenter film I haven't seen!), but some of the key art (scroll down a bit) has Chevy Chase wearing a similar yellow coat and hat. I don't know if that coat is a well-worn trope of invisible-man fiction or movies, though ...
