Is the Late Night closing theme a cover or just incidental music?

Does anyone know if the closing theme to Late Night With Seth Meyers is a cover or an original piece? Click here to listen to it (yt). Does anyone recognize it? It sounds of a piece with the opening theme and I'm pretty sure it's an original, but I thought I'd ask just in case. Since there's probably no studio version available, let me also ask: if I like this sound, what else would I like?

Don't let the tremelo mislead you...I like how it gives the song a Friends Of Dean Martinez vibe, but what I really dig about the song is the slightly chilly yet poignant sound. It reminds me of late-80s melancholy British pop, like The Siddeleys "My Favorite Wet Wednesday Afternoon." What do you love that sounds like that?

The Youtube link you have is set to private; any way to change that?

Confirming I can hear it now.

It might be an original by Fred Armisen - I'm trying to find evidence of that.

I do not know who wrote this piece, but it reminds me of a slightly less surfy Laika and the Cosmonauts.

This bassoon quartet cover credits "Original theme by Fred Armisen and the 8G Band."
