A gaming mouse with a button for every finger?

I'm looking for something which may or may not exist: a gaming mouse which has a button for every finger. Or more precisely, a gaming mouse on which I can comfortably rest all five of my fingers on separate, fully functional button during normal use.

My progress and thoughts so far:

* I prefer fingertip or palm grip, but I'm open to claw grip if that's what it takes.

* On any mouse with the standard 2 buttons and scroll wheel on top, it's possible to put your middle finger on the scroll wheel and your ring finger on the right button. However, in my experience this usually isn't very comfortable (since it's not the intended design); also, the scroll wheel is often a less-than-ideal button, since it tends to require significantly more force than the left and right buttons, and on some mice it's hard to press it without slightly moving the scroll wheel.

* Ambidextrous mice (such as the CM Storm Recon) tend to have one or two buttons on both the left and right sides of the mouse; theoretically, you could use your thumb for the buttons on one side, and your pinky for the ones on the other. However, this is again not the intended design, so I'm guessing it would not be comfortable.

* The Mad Catz M.M.O. 7 seems to have a pinky button, but, from the videos I've seen, it's only meant for occasional use, and is not positioned in such a way to allow you to rest your pinky on it during normal usage. (Also, the mouse seems overpriced, going by its reviews.)

* Some vertical mice (such as the Evoluent VerticalMouse 4) have enough buttons, but I seriously doubt they'd be suitable for gaming.

* The Logitech G50 Vanguard seems ideal, but unfortunately it's just a concept and does not actually exist.

What about this 14-button Steelseries mouse?

Best answer: How about the Logitech G600? It appears to have a third button, and though it's advertised as a "shift" button by default (to double the capacity of all the other little G-keys), you might be able to customise it to your own purposes.

I have a CM Storm Inferno which might give what you're looking for, although you might need quite slender fingers to use it in the way you describe.

I don't use it that way myself; I don't play many games that need that many buttons that quickly, so I tend to use the 3 side buttons with my thumb and not use the 2 extra "top front" buttons much at all. In all other respects I've been very happy with it, its on the fly dpi adjust is nicely laid out. The driver allows for a lot of tweaking which I've not really got into at all.

I don't see anyone mentioning the Nostromo. I have an older model - useful for Photoshop as well as gaming.

Came in to say the same thing as tomboko - you might consider a gamepad like the Nostromo or the Logitech G13. You basically work the mouse with your right hand and the gamepad with your left. Your left hand is resting on a sort of palm rest and there are several rows of buttons that you can reach. I use the Nostromo for World of Warcraft; there is an editor to assign key strokes (or combinations of keys) to each of the (15) keys on the gamepad, plus a thumbpad button.
