Syrian Electronic Army

I got a popup saying "You have been hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army (SEA)." It appears to be a group that defaces server pages.

I'm careful about avoiding anything that looks like a phishing attack, and it appears to be nothing on my Widows 8.1 computer.

How do I get rid of it?

According to this CBC article, it's not a threat - and using a pop-up blocker (like AdBlock) will stop it from showing up. It's not on your machine.
