Finding facebook posts from back in the mists of time

I have a question about facebook search and finding posts in a facebook group on certain dates.
There is a closed facebook group which I am a member of but not an admin/moderator/owner. I would like to be able to quickly and easily find myself looking at the posts from, say, April 2013 one day and October 2013 the next.
It's not individual posts or authors I want to look up but the flow of conversation and types of questions asked in those periods, which are when newbie members (and newbies to the topic) were admitted to the group.
I am admittedly more facebook/internet stupid than most but I can't figure this out. Is there any way to do this without sitting at a computer and scrolling for hours? If I have to export them or something I guess I'm okay with that. Thanks for looking at my question!
