Is it possible to search for podcast episodes by topic?

One would think this exists somewhere, so maybe I just didn't do enough googling, but is there a way to search for podcasts or radio segments by topic? Say I want to find a podcast, talk radio segment or recorded lecture tagged with "Philae landing"...how would I go about doing that without googling a specific show like "Science Friday Philae landing"?

I don't know how well it will work for other keywords, but that search turns up a ton of results at SoundCloud, including some from professional broadcasters.

iTunes does this. Search the store for "Philae comet" for example and there are currently 23 results. Your topic string has to be part of the episode description, obviously, so that's not going to be all podcasts that cover Philae.
