Your Recommended Reading For Stepparents

Books, websites, message boards, pamphlets, magazines, any resources at all!

Hello!
I'm looking for book and/or other resources to help me be the best stepparent I can be. I recently visited my local used book store to see if I could find something but was dismayed to see that although they carried a staggering number of parenting books there was no stepparenting section. My partner had a couple parenting books (Children Learn What They Live & Simplicity Parenting) but I'm looking for something that is written for stepparents. Google has been mildly helpful so far yet what I've read so far only scratches the surface.
In a perfect world I'd find a book titled "Building A Trusting And Loving Relationship With Your Four Year Old Stepchild"

Best answer: I would look through the archives on offbeatfamilies they tend to have a similar worldview to askmeta (although maybe a little more granola). They have lots of articles on stepparenting/blending families.

I also read and *loved* this post on A Practical Wedding this morning. Maybe not so much a full on resource, but a more of a warm fuzzy reminder that you can do this and be awesome at it.
