Services that Scan and OCR documents into Excel or Word formats?

Service that will receive documents by mail and scan and OCR the documents for me

I remember there used to be services that would receive your documents by mail and then scan and upload them in excel or word formats (depending on the type of content) and then send them back to you or dispose of the documents.

Can Anyone direct me to one of those services?
I am just going blank at remembering any of them and google searches are not yielding good results.

I am in need of sending a bunch of business related documents (such as invoices etc) and personal stuff to be scanned and OCR'ed.

could you maybe try using adobe acrobat. it will OCR the document for you. IF you don't have that kind of software see if you can get a trial of it for month or something.

Response by poster: None of us have time to do it at all due to other requirements.
