Comedy-Horror

I'm looking for the title of a movie that I saw in the mid-eighties on late night TV.

It was a comedy-horror flick and unfortunately I can't remember if the villians were vampires or werewolves or zombies. But the leader of the nefarious crew would give a command and two of his underlings would answer, "Yes, Big Booty." He would always correct them, "Boo-TAY, Boo-TAY!" Can you imagine what I faced when I tried to google "Big Booty" in movie characters?

Best answer: How about The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension? Christopher Lloyd played Bigboote.

From the quotes:
John Bigboote: We've had our chance! Your Overthruster's for shit! We're lost!
Lord John Whorfin: One more word out of you, Bigbooty...
John Bigboote: [screaming] BIG-BOO-TAY! TAY! TAY!

[Whorfin shoots him]

I love that movie,

Best answer: For the benefit of crw and others searching for movies based on quotes, trying doing a quotes search first at IMDB. Putting "Big Booty" into IMDB, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai was the 2nd hit.

Best answer: Except when John Whorfin / Emilio Lizardo says it, it's "Big-a-booty," because he has a delightfully atrocious Eye-talian accent.

See also John Small Berries, John Many Jars, John Ya-Ya.

I am still waiting patiently for the sequel: Buckaroo Banzai vs. The World Crime League.

It's about time.

It was also a book, by the same name.

There's talk that some of BBvtWCL got morphed into some of Big Trouble in Little China. The director of BB is the/a writer of BTiLC.

Yeah, I was at a con years ago and there was a studio rep there with "World Crime League" and "Banzai" gear, trying to drum up some astroturf. Apparently, the primary holdup was legal/money disputes over the soundtrack.

"Where are we going?"
"PLANET TEN!"
"When are we going?"
"REAL SOON!"

"This thing drives like a truck."
"Oh, I see. What is a truck?"

"What's that watermelon for?"
"I'll tell you later."

For those poor souls unfamilar with B²→8D, the role of Lizardo was played by John Lithgow (of Third Rock from the Sun fame). Now imagine his 3rd Rock character in even more ramped-up mode, plus bad Eye-talian accent and wild hair....
