Husky Shoes!

Help me find school-spirited shoes! My girlfriend and I are both students at the University of Washington. Last weekend, when the football team was playing USC, we saw a girl walking around with what were probably kangaROOS in school colors: purple and yellow (mostly purple, with yellow accents). My girlfriend instantly fell in love with them and we've been trying to find them everywhere to no avail.
Details: They were probably these Roos (different colors, of course), but there's a small chance that they were old school Pumas, sort of like these. As I said above, they were purple and yellow; a dark, royal purple and a pretty golden yellow.
There is a chance that they were custom made (?) or made to order ala Nike shoes online. If so, where could I do this? Thanks!

My next-door neighbor is a high school coach, and her sneakers (in school colors) are custom-made Nikes. TheAnswer probably has the answer here.

As far as custom made, it seems like big school athletic programs get custom colors as part of their contracts. Maybe you saw an athlete?

Have you tried any Husky stores on the Ave? Or the Big 5? Especially since today is homecoming/purple day, I'm sure various store owners are familiar with what purple and gold stuff they have in stock, or stuff that they could get.

Puma: H. Street Leather, Speed Cat, Criatura II, TX-3
Pro-Keds: 142nd
Quick: Typhoon (which is more lilac than purple)
Personally, I'd be tempted to get a yellow Sharpie and go to town on these Vans.
