Whose Lovecraft-in-suburbia art is this?

A while back I randomly downloaded this image, very possibly from a Metafilter thread, without noting the name of the artist. Anyway, I recently posted it to Facebook and one of my friends wants to know who the artist is as he's pretty sure he went to school with the guy ... but he forgets his name. Any ideas?
