Identify Ralph McQuarrie cover art

Some Librarians are trying to identify the book this art by McQuarrie goes with.

I've tried Abebooks, Amazon and Worldcat with no luck so far.

Has anyone tried contacting Dreams and Visions Press? They appear to have the publishing rights for some of his previously unpublished works, and might be able to help with the ID.

Dreams and Visions Press is running the identify the photo contest. They aren't going to be helpful until its over.

My answer above sounds crabby and I didn't mean it to. If you do a google image search for the picture the only match is from the Ralph McQuarrie archives twitter account, which is running a contest to identify the book the cover is from. So we'll find out when they announce the winner. I can't figure it out either or I'd enter.
