Best pediatric neurosurgeon specializing in Chiari malfomations?

This past weekend, my six year old daughter was diagnosed with a Chiari malformation and Syringomyelia. We are told that she needs surgery soon to correct this. Obviously, we want to go a facility that is well-experienced with this procedure and, ideally, we would like to have this done in California.

I assume you've seen the World Arnold Chiarai Malformation Assocation Doctor Listings? Most of the California doctors are in Southern California. The head of the Pediatric Neurosurgery at UCLA Medical Center as one of those listed. Thanks, blob! I hadn't seen that.

A family member has been able to get lots of help/support and information from ASAP--The American Syringomyelia & Chiari Alliance Project.
There is an informative and fun conference each year, s/he has been able to meet up with all kinds of families who are experiencing these conditions.
Also, the 2013 conference was hosted in Los Angeles by these doctors [at UCLA?]
Ulrich Batzdorf, MD and Langston Holly, MD

You can also try UCSF or Lucille Packard. Good luck to you.
