Looking for reference of high end / exclusive Pool Halls…

I'm looking for some examples of high end or exclusive Pool Halls or even potentially sports bars for a research project. However, as I'm based in the UK – it's quite difficult for me to research in person (not to mention knowing nothing about the sport). Any suggestions are welcomed!

There used to be a really lovely club in Toronto called the Academy of Spherical Arts, but it closed last year. Depending on what aspect of this you're trying to research, some of the info about it that's still available online (you should be able to find pictures, reviews on Yelp, etc) may help you.

I haven't been, but Lucky Strike in Washington DC might be something like what you're looking for. (It's primarily a bowling alley but also a billiard hall and sports bar.)
