How does it taste, kids? Terrible!

Growing up, my dad would always ask the group of cousins, "How does it taste, kids?" And we would respond in unison, "terrible!" My mom thinks this came from a PBS show such as Sesame Street, but we can't track anything down. Does anyone remember this line?

Most likely time frame is the early 80's.

This is my first question here. :)

Sounds like something that would be from "You Can't Do That on Television," a Canadian-imported sketch comedy show that ran on Nickelodeon in the mid/late 80s.

Does the line "Whaddaya think's IN the burgers" ever come up?

Best answer: I'm pretty sure it's from this Sesame Street "20 Pickle Pie" segment. At the end (about 1:25) Uncle Ned says "How's it taste, kids?" and a chorus of kid voices goes "Ooh, it's terrible!"
