GeoCaching in NYC?

GeoCaching in NYC: I'm going to be visiting NYC for the weekend, and would love to do some GeoCaching while I'm there. I'm overwhelmed by the amount of caches on the website. Does anyone have specific caches that they've found that are worth recommending? Any areas to concentrate on? Areas to avoid? General NYC caching tips? This will be my first attempt at urban caching, I'm usually out in the woods.

Response by poster: I'll be staying somewhere in Brooklyn, but want to explore as much of the city as possible.

I'm not in NY, so I don't have any recommendations, but for a bit of a twist, urban areas are photographed in sufficient detail by Google Maps that you could leave the GPS at home, and try using an aerial photo or map :)

If you'd like to get a little off the beaten path, there's some caches in the northern part of Manhattan that cool, including:

Also, one of my favorites in central park is: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=75e5c7c4-55e7-43d8-89fc-53ecf09a8ddd
