I just want to be able to shake!

A while ago I bought my nephew a plush toy train with a string-wound mechanism inside that shook the toy but made no noise until the string was wound down again to the rivet opening. I know for a fact the toy was discontinued. Could you please direct me to a company which sells string-winding shaking toy mechanisms?

Not totally sure I understand, it made a noise after the string wound all the way down?

Response by poster: it made no noise! you pulled a string and as the string was wound down, the mechanism shook the toy.

Oh, the toy vibrates? Was it a fast vibration or kind of chunky? Hearthsong might sell such a thing.

There are cat toys like this that are made like a bunch of adorable little animals. I think "vibrating plush toy" is a thing to google for.

Response by poster: I don't want another toy, I want to buy the mechanism.

Best answer: Ah sorry. Here is one example for sale. If you just need one you're better off just taking it out of a toy.
