Looking for specific locations in Central Park, New York

Where can these locations (shot in 1968) be found?
I am looking for two specific locations in Central Park, NYC. I made a flickr album with some pictures. The locations were shot in 1968, so I assume things could be radically changed by now. I hope the park loving mefites can help me out here.
The first four pictures show some landscape with rocks. This is a sequence in a movie, but I assume that these might be two different locations. The second location is a tunnel or cove.
These are shots from the movie symbiopsychotaxiplasm and I know they worked in the area of W 68th st side of the park. So maybe these places are in the neighborhood, but I'm not sure.

Best answer: I think the one with the bridge and staircase is actually Fort Tryon Park.

There aren't any sidewalks in the park that I've ever seen.
What the what? There's sidewalks all around the loop.

Not like the one pictured. Sorry, I should have clarified that.

Response by poster: Thanks roomthreeseventeen, I'll go and have a look at the rock tomorrow! The movie was shot at Central Park, there's no doubt about that (I've been in touch with some actors and crew of this movie) You can see for yourself here at Vimeo. The scene where the director walks away - while the crew is doubting his skills in the production office - starts around 25:00.
I still don't know if the rock walking scene is in the same area, but I'll see for myself there. Any other suggestions are still welcome. Central Park wise the movie is amazing: (police) cars driving over bridges, people riding horses and eloquent homeless living 'in the bush'.
There's still the tunnel and the stairs from the opening scene that I have to find. Thanks so far!

Response by poster: Zamboni, that looks weirdly similar. I'll ask the actress if she still remembers, because it is the same structure, good eye! Thanks!

Response by poster: Zamboni you were right! Yesterday I spent a lovely afternoon with the actress (now a grey & great lady) and after a martini or three, she remembered. "How have you found out?" she said. Zamboni whispered this in my ear, I answered. And then we ordered another martini.

I'm not sure enough about the others to guess, sorry.
