Seattle vet recommendations?

Just moved to Seattle -- any recommendations for a good veterinarian or vet hospital? My cat will probably need some diagnostic work, so I'd prefer a facility that has specialists. I am hoping to find a place in North Seattle (Maple Leaf/Northgate area) but can drive anywhere.
I second Broadway Vet--they're very good, though not cheap.

I really liked Northwest Vet on Stone Way in the U District - closer to N Seattle than Broadway. 206-545-4255.

I also highly recommend Northwest Vet Hospital. I've taken my animals there for years, and they are great, and have been able to handle everything from routine shots to major surgery.
My friend takes her cats to the Cat Clinic. I don't know how extensive their services are, though.

We live in Ballard, and take our two cats to Crown Hill Vet. So far I like them just fine. They have Saturday and Sunday hours, which is nice, and seem to spend a lot of time with the little critters.

I really have appreciated the help and service of Cats Exclusive over the years. They only work with cats and the few vets I've personally dealt with have been compassionate, smart, and very friendly.
I live in north Seattle as well, not too far from Northgate. Cats Exclusive is a little bit of a drive north (20 mins or so). It's on Aurora and 192nd. I really can't recommend them enough.

oh, re: Cats Exlcusive. I saw Dr. Jen Fligiel a bunch of times. She's listed on their doctors page. She's great.

I also used to take my cat to Crown Hill Vet. It wil be much easier for you to get to than Broadway and I was really impressed with how they treated my cat who had never been to a vet before and was skittish and unhappy.

Response by poster: Thanks folks, I went to Northwest Vet and they were very thorough and reasonable, not to mention close to me. It is a small facility--just 2 full time vets--but they seem to work closely with other clinics to offer the full range of services (such as endoscopy, which is what they have recommended for my little guy). These all look like good recommendations.
