At a 'zombies' panel at Worldcon last weekend, I think it was Seanan McGuire, a.k.a. Mira Grant, who strongly recommended Cargo. Some or all of the other panelists (Adam-Troy Castro, Charlaine Harris, Elizabeth Bear, etc.) seemed to agree.

There's also this blackly funny short: Zombie in a Penguin Suit.

Also, one I can't quite find, but maybe somebody else remembers: a short film or indie movie trailer, from a first person (zombie) perspective, of a family fleeing some zombies breaking into their home? Circa 2005-2008. I think it was on Google Video or Vimeo or something.

This low-budget, zombie short called 'Blaise' was made in my hometown (I declare an interest as I have a small part in it! :)

8 years ago some fellow MeFi friends and I made Zombie House Party Massacre. Come for the zombies, stay for the laughs.
