Looking for American politics and news podcasts, radio programs or blogs

Now that NPR's It's All Politics is ending, I need a new podcast that focuses on American politics and national news. I love podcasts like PRI's The World and BBC Newshour, but I want something that only focuses on American stories.
I already listen to Slate's Political Gabfest. Does anyone here have any other suggestions? I'm also looking for high quality blogs that are frequently updated. Thanks for any suggestions!
I'm still mourning the end of It's All Politics as well.
Two of my other favorites are The New Yorker's The Political Scene, and Decode DC (which is by former NPR-er Andrea Seabrook). I'm also fond of Planet Money, which isn't exclusively American, and is more economic than political, but I think overlaps enough of the time to be interesting.

Oh, and if you're at all interested in a historical focus, My History Can Beat Up Your Politics is good for lots of arcane trivia.

KCRW's Left, Right and Center is often quite good.

If you're willing to wade through and be selective, NPR's Fresh Air and the Leonard Lopate show often do 20-40 minute pieces on deep American politics.

I wonder if you might like On the Media (I love it). The subject matter is not politics exactly, but it's certainly political events and discourses as refracted through the variety of media we have. It's sharp, analytical, and very much in tune with American politics.

Fresh Air, Commonwealth Club, KQED Forum, and To The Point all have politics from time to time.
