What's the age and value of this Theodore Roosevelt campaign pin?

This pin must be from either the 1901 or 1905 elections. Can you tell me anything about it? Can you tell me its approximate value? If not, can you direct me to a website or individual where I might find out? Thanks!

Check similar stuff on eBay. I'm guessing around $100 give or take AND depending on if someone wants it.

Depressing, isn't it?

It appears that TR sat for Pirie MacDonald in the spring of 1915. If this image was from the same sitting, this could be a convention pin from the Progressive Party's failed effort to draft Roosevelt in 1916. Compare this "RARE!!!" item.

I have a pin with the same image and same copyright statement; it was a repro from 1950s era and worth a dollar or two. might need a real in person appraisal to determine if it's real or more recent.

Legacy Americana is reputable dealer of political memorabilia. They have quite a few different TR campaign pins for sale. I am sure they could help identify and price yours.

to second holyrood's comment, you'll see campaign pin collections on antiques road show all the time and they usually are reproductions, not original.
