What is this tv show?

Looking for a TV show, was on some PBS station a few months ago, likely 'Masterpiece', or 'Mystery' or whatever they are calling it nowadays. So, likely British. A mystery, I think set in early 20th century. Main protagonist/mystery solver is a lady in her 30s? 40s?, she is wealthy. She ends up hiring an assistant/maid who is very relgious, even being afraid of a telephone because she was told it was the work of Satan, but ends up overcoming that fear. The episode I saw had a attempted murder by Turkish Bath of the main character, and some (fake?) abortion provider main theme, with perhaps drug smuggling thrown in. There is, of course, an exasperated police inspector and the end of the show has the main character sitting aaround with her confederates INA restaurant drinking champaign deciding to officially start aa detective agency
I record and watch pretty much everything Masterpiece shows, and I don't remember this.
The ep 1 description in marginaliana's link sounds just like your description. It does look like some PBS stations have picked this up individually (KQED, for example). Most PBS stations have online program listings, so maybe you could find future airings there?

Yes, Miss Fisher, but not on PBS. You might have seen it on BBC America. You can buy the episodes from season 1 through Amazon streaming. It's a fun show!

Dropping in to mention that the Australian network that makes these has commissioned a second series. Filming began earlier this year.
(Incidentally, they're based on a fairly delightful series of books by Kerry Greenwood. Sometimes, they wander a little far into the author being like AND NOW LET ME TELL YOU ALL ABOUT THIS ASPECT OF AUSTRALIAN HISTORY THAT I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS YEAR! and/or uncomfortable positive stereotyping of minorities, but by and large, they're lovely and a great antidote to Agatha Christie prissy reactionary conservatism.)

Response by poster: That is definitely it marginaliana. No wonder I couldn't find it on the Masterpiece' website. I did see it on PBS which is what make me think it was MP I guess.
