Hi, I was wondering if any mefi-ers know the name of the song played in the background of the scene where Scotty J tried to kiss Dirk Diggler?

The Move - Feel Too Good

That song is the sound of The Move trying to get out of a recording contract that had put them on a pop singles treadmill for eternity. (It worked -- their next album was light prog rock, and then they turned into the early experimental Electric Light Orchestra.) I loved the way it marked the inflection point in Boogie Nights where the tone changed from light to heavy.
