Deals for baby?

We have a 4+ month old, and I recently remembered that the Ringling Bros. will give you a free ticket voucher for your up-to-1 year old child. Aside from retailers flooding your mailbox/inbox with baby goods samples/coupons, what other neat deals are there like this that are a bit "out of the box"?

If you're using formula even just as a supplement, always ask your pediatrician for formula samples.

Go on freecycle or something similar, people give a lot of stuff away. Craigslist and eBay too.

Thrift stores are great places to find gently used baby clothes; you go through them just SO fast.

If you live near a "Once Upon A Child" store, it is a consignment shop for kid stuff, and they have a huge rack of onesies that are 10 for $10. It removes any guilt I might have felt for spending money on clothes that will only fit for 3 months and might get ruined by stains.

This is a little vague, but check out mommy blogs. I believe they have giveaways and also tips about freebies.

Most art museums are free for under-3's (some go even higher) - it's a great alternative to showing picture books
