Help Me Find the Perfect Bistro Set!

We've just moved into a cute rental house in Hillcrest, San Diego and our front patio is absolutely begging for a cute little bistro table and chairs. I'm looking for suggestions with a budget of no more than $150 and we're perfectly willing to use Craigslist or eBay. My question is, what colors would go best with the current paint scheme? My instinct is that black would probably work, but it seems like we could do better. Here is the house. The planters can be moved or removed entirely.

I like celtalitha's "weird light in the table" link for that house.

Black will get very hot in the sun. Myself, I though "white to match the trim" when I looked at your picture.

I was going to suggest dark brown for the color scheme, and it looks like "weird light in the table" fits the bill!

This is the perfect time of year to buy a bistro set. You'll spend about $100 on a good one. Target, Wal-Mart, kohl's, etc. I'd go on line and order one to be shipped.

White iron would be nice.

If you happen to pick up the Ikea bistro set, check out this sweet umbrella and base. Not to big; not too small.

I'm thinking an earthtone red or orange. Or cream yellow. My personal opinion is black might be too harsh, but that's a matter of taste probably.

Green, the classic French garden color.

Something like this? It kind of echoes what's going on with the front door, and it's a lighter color, so a bit cooler.

This one's a little more contemporary and it folds up, so you could easily clear the space if you needed to.

Here's an acacia wood set that's a bit over your price range, but you can Google around for a coupon (shipping is free). I think it'd look nice with your railing and planters.

I think Red or Orange would really add some zing.

And congratulations on your new place. Hillcrest is a wonderful neighborhood.

I was looking at patio furniture for myself just now and came across this set. It comes with cushions and would seem to go well with your planters and railings.
