Tips for good restaurants in south Dallas?

I'm going on a first date tomorrow with a girl who likes Chinese and sea food. She lives in south Dallas, an area of Dallas I'm not too familiar with. Does anyone have any recommendations for good restaurants in the area? Extra info: max of around $25 for two people, we'll be going in the afternoon. Thanks!

Best answer: It's not Chinese food [which is generally quite sub-par to Japanese, Korean, Thai, etc], and it's not Sea food [which is uncommon in Dallas, unless you're ok with frozen], but I'm a big fan of Chicken Scratch.

Super chill, authentic cool, quite funky. Very Austin. But needs good weather to maximize.

Response by poster: Great suggestion, Murray M, we went there and it was fantastic. I'll keep those two places in mind for future reference item.
