Streaming live sports to iPhone?

The Arizona/ASU mens' basketball game starts in about an hour. My mother is on an airplane with wifi and wants to know if it's possible for her to watch the game on her iPhone somehow. She has a DirecTV subscription but no Nomad.

Things I've tried so far:
  • Doesn't seem to be on Justin.tv/uStream/LiveStream though I suppose this could change once the game starts
  • Not available to stream on the PAC-12 iPhone app

In the future, a slingbox would work.

The plane-to-ground link for airborne WiFi is relatively slow, not to mention expensive for the in-flight WiFi provider, and they generally block streaming video.
