White hat job, black-hat tool?

White-hat job that may require a black-hat tool: I write for a WordPress based group blog. I'd like to copy the posts I've written for the last year or so onto my own blog (another WordPress installation). Difficulty: can't install plug-ins to the group blog, and no Import/Export feature available. More inside.

There are plenty of manual options, of course, but I'd rather not dedicate the next couple weeks to copying and pasting :)

The RSS feed and built-in RSS Importer should work, but how does one save an RSS feed for the importer to work?

Website scraper program? It would be wonderful if it's free / trial-based...

Something else entirely? I'm all ears.

I just tested it. If your RSS feed has all of your posts in full form, go to its URI, save it as whatever.xml, then go to Tools > Import in your personal blog and use the RSS Importer. You might have to let Wordpress install the RSS importer plugin, after which you can choose the saved file. It'll bring everything perfectly, although you might have some strange category issues -- and probably an author issue as well although you can change both those things with bulk edits.

Response by poster: The RSS feed worked great, but only for the most recent 10 posts. That's a setting on the group blog I can't change.

Other ideas?
