Name those socks.

These are the best socks. Please tell me who makes them.

I wear through socks like they're made of tissue paper (even goldtoe and lots of others that were recommended for sturdiness), but a few pairs of socks with this logo have withstood years of use without a hole. I can't figure out who makes them. The logo looks like it might be for the initials "GR." Anyone know?

A hint please: where did you buy them?

Response by poster: I'm pretty sure it was either DSW or the now-defunct Filene's Basement.

Can we see the whole sock? (are they dress, or athletic, or what)

Response by poster: Dress. They come up to halfway between my ankles and calf muscles.

Thought so, just checking. They could be Robert Graham, which kind of matches the initials. I'm not sure, though, I can't see if there's a brand in the weave in the photos.

I can't help you with your question, but if you despise cheap socks then have a look at Falke Socks from Germany. I bought three pairs about 8 years ago and still have all of them.

Best answer: You might want to ask the folks at Sock Dreams this question. Even if they don't carry the socks themselves, they're super helpful. (And if they do carry the socks of your dreams, there's free shipping!)
