Hybrid mechanic in NYC?

Searching for a hybrid mechanic in NYC. I asked this a few years ago, but I never found a satisfying answer, and I'm hoping someone has some new ideas.
I'm just tired of going to the dealer and having an awful experience. I'm also tired of going to sketchy mechanics who look at my Prius and say "is that a hybrid?" Are there any alternatives? So many hybrids on the road; I must believe that someone has found the answer!
