Help me pick a tiki name!

I want a tiki name—please help me pick one!
So, why a tiki name? I don't have any particular connection to tiki culture beyond really enjoying the drinks and spending a lot of time at a great tiki bar on the Lowest East Side (PKNY, f/k/a Painkiller). Really, I just want an amusing tiki name that I can pretend to call myself. Some background on me in case it helps:
• First name David (though "David" doesn't necessarily have to be in my tiki name)
• Mid-30s, lifelong NYC resident
• Ex-lawyer, now write about politics for a living (which used to be my hobby)
• Keep kosher, which means (amusingly) that I can't eat some of the foods most commonly associated with tiki (pork and shellfish/crustaceans)
To broad the scope a bit, I'm open to Polynesian or Caribbean influences. All ideas welcome!

Dawn Patrol David?
Dave Da Kine?
David in Hawaiian is Kawika, apparently and you've got Kahako for beach or Kupuna for an "Uncle Dave" or "Pops" type.

Also, in response to a question I asked for B-names, I loved "The Sloop John B", or in your case, "D", which Ben was not a fan of.
