Can I find someone to yell at me until I finish my work?

Is there audio I can download to encourage me not to give up on tasks?

I'm looking for some sort of Mp3 that would be like the semi-annoying people on workout videos who say: "Come on, don't give up. I know it's tough, but think how great you are going to look if you keep it up..."

The other day I was doing a workout video, and cheesey as it seems, hearing a voice acknowledging that it was hard and I did want to give up, but could that I could overcome that, helped me make it through the workout.

I have a hard time completing tasks in general. Especially timed tasks like "sit down and work on this for 4 hours." But there are a lot of time dependent projects just like that I am currently working on.

So... could I find some sort of motivational/drill sergeant-ish recording to listen to while I work to encourage me to keep going? I'm not really looking for affirmational "you are smart and capable, etc." kind of thing. I'm specifically looking for: "hang in there, don't give up. You're going to be disappointed in yourself if you give up." That sort of thing.

Have any of you used similar motivators to stick to a task?

Thanks in advance!

Aw, I was so looking forward to the answers to this question.

I think this is such a good idea. I know I used to love working out to Denise Austin on Lifetime in the mornings--or just sitting on my bed listening her--and feeling so motivated.

There are various ways to get mp3s from YouTube videos--maybe find your favorite motivational workout videos and edit them into a long track? I might do that with Denise to play when I'm doing housework.

Second what thebazilist said. Use a youtube downloader to get the mp3's you need. Here's the first one you should get Hard Work Essay
