Rural Holiness Church Music?

I'm reading Salvation on Sand Mountain: Snake-Handling and Redemption in Southern Appalachia by Dennis Covington and am very curious about the music in Southern rural Holiness churches -- the electric, ecstatic, kind. Aside from some amazing clips on YouTube, I haven't been able to find much of it to listen to. I'm hoping for recommendations of albums or complications of that type of music.

Try looking for shaped note singing.

I haven't read the book so I'm a little at a loss. I'm assuming these are white churches, but if not, have you read about the sacred steel tradition? Previously on MeFi.
