Looking for a for female-friendly barbers in London, UK, e.g., with a Murdoch London aesthetic.

I'm seeking a recommendation for a good barber or hairdresser in London, England.

I'm a girl, and I have previously had good experiences at a barbershop in Toronto called the Crow's Nest that caters to men. I got a Mad-Men type cut - tight around the back and sides and longer on the top - and ask them to keep it slightly longer.

I'm looking for a place that does that kind of thing, and that welcomes a female client. Based on their Web site, it looks like Murdoch London is a contender but is a bit pricey.

Your recommendations are very appreciated! Thanks!

The Murdoch on Old Street you are talking about, right? OK, so you need to go down the street a bit, down Hackney Road but before Mare Street. There is a barber on the left side of the road (on Hackney) with a car's front in the back wall. You won't miss it. They are genderless and understand hair. I can't remember the name but they gave me a good back and sides when I came in.
