Looking for reasonably priced new laptop

Looking for a new laptop.
Mostly web surfing, watch a lot of online videos, could do with at least 400GB hard drive (more would be useful) for storing podcasts/music. On that note, decent speakers would be nice.
Am currently using a Dell Inspiron 1525 which I have pretty much worn into the ground. Battery is dying so I have a few weeks before it is gone.
Not really in a position to replace these things too often so would want something that would last at least a few years.
Price I am looking at is a limit of £400/$635.
Any suggestions?
