Help me identify the poem by Adrienne Rich to which the title of Ghazal on Half a Line by Adrienne Rich, by Marilyn Hacker, refers?

Best answer: I think it's from "The Tourist and the Town":
                                  Only sometimes
In certain towns she opens certain letters
Forwarded on from bitter origins....
It appears in The Diamond Cutters (1955), and Selected Poems (1996).

steef is correct. I have heard Hacker read the poem, and sometimes she reads "The Tourist and the Town" first.
